Description
A refreshing juice made with carrots, oranges, and ginger.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound carrots, scrubbed well with the tops removed (about 6 medium carrots)
- 3 whole oranges, peeled (alternatively, you can use one cup water if you don’t want to use oranges)
- 1 two-inch piece of fresh ginger
Instructions
- Cut the carrots into large pieces, no longer than about 2 inches to help ease the blending process.
- Add the chopped carrots and oranges to the base. Blend or process on high for 20-30 seconds, or until the mixture is smooth. You may need to use the tamper to push the carrots into the blade.
- Then, pour the blended juice through a nut milk bag, squeezing from the top to catch the juice into a pitcher or bowl. Discard the fiber or save it and use it for another purpose.
- Serve the juice immediately, or transfer it to a jar with a lid and store in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Notes
- For a sweeter juice, you can add more oranges or a splash of honey.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
